Collectors you may know

Collectors you may know is a list of collectors CollectionStation thinks you might want to connect with because you have things in common — such as mutual connections, shared groups, or overlap in My Collection.

You can send a connection request to anyone on the list by clicking Connect. If a suggestion is not helpful, click Not interested to remove it and see fewer suggestions like it.

Where to find suggestions

To open your suggestions:

1. Sign in to CollectionStation.
2. Open your Connections hub.
3. Click the Suggestions tab.

You can also go directly to /{your-username}/connections/suggestions.

Each card shows why the collector was suggested — for example, mutual connections, shared groups, shared items in My Collection, items you want that they have, or because they follow you.

Connect from a suggestion

To send a connection request from the list:

1. Find the collector on Suggestions.
2. Click Connect.

After they Accept connection, you become mutual connections. See Adding connections and Accept a connection request for more detail.

You can also open the collector's profile, use Send Message, or open the More menu (⋯) for other actions.

Remove a suggestion

If you do not want to connect with someone on the list:

1. On their suggestion card, click Not interested.

CollectionStation hides that collector from your suggestions. You may still find them through Search, Collectors, or your feed.

If suggestions are empty

You may see no suggestions when:

• You are not signed in.
• Site settings turn off connection suggestions.
• CollectionStation has not found good matches yet.

Try joining groups, adding public items to My Collection, or following collectors whose updates you enjoy. Suggestions refresh when you return to the tab.
