Accept a connection request

When another collector sends you a connection request, you choose whether to accept it. Connections are mutual — you are not connected until you accept.

After you accept, CollectionStation usually follows both ways automatically so each person's public updates can appear in the other's feed.

Accept from your Connections hub

To accept a connection request:

1. Sign in to CollectionStation.
2. Open your Connections hub.
3. Click the My Requests tab.
4. Find the incoming request.
5. Click Accept.

To turn down a request from this list, click Ignore.

Accept from a profile

You can also accept from the requester's profile:

1. Open the collector's profile.
2. Click Accept connection.

To decline from their profile, click Decline.

After you accept

Once accepted:

• You and the other collector become connections.
• You can see each other's connection-only and follower-visible posts, depending on privacy settings.
• Either of you can Disconnect later from the collector's profile if you no longer want a mutual connection.
