Report a group you are a member of

Use group reporting when a group you belong to on CollectionStation may be abusive, spammy, misleading, or against our Community Standards.

This article is for members reporting a group they have joined. Group organizers and moderators should use the group's moderation tools instead of Report Group.

Report a group

To report a group you are a member of:

1. Sign in to CollectionStation.
2. Go to the group you want to report by clicking its name in your feed, opening it from Groups, or searching for it.
3. On the group page, open the More menu (⋯) below the group header.
4. Click Report Group.
5. Choose the option that best describes how this group goes against our Community Standards.
6. If prompted, add a short explanation, then click Report.

After you submit the report, CollectionStation sends it to the group's organizers and moderators, and may also route it to site staff depending on the issue.

What to include

Choose the most accurate reporting reason and add details that help reviewers understand the issue. For example:

• What content or behavior in the group looks abusive, spammy, misleading, or unsafe.
• Whether the issue involves a specific post, member, or organizer action.
• Any links or context that may not be obvious from the group page alone.

If you do not see Report Group

You may not see Report Group if you are the group's organizer, a moderator, or site staff reviewing the group in an admin role. In those cases, use the group's Moderation settings instead.

If you are a member and still do not see Report Group, use the chat icon in the lower-right corner of CollectionStation. Include the group name, a link to the group if you have one, and any screenshots.
