Report a message

Use message reporting when a private message on CollectionStation may be abusive, spammy, threatening, or against our Community Standards.

Report a message

To report a message on CollectionStation:

1. Sign in to CollectionStation.
2. Click the Messages icon in the top-right corner of the site.
3. Open the conversation that contains the message you want to report.
4. Open the More menu (⋯) on the conversation.
5. Click Report.
6. Choose the option that best describes how the message goes against our Community Standards.
7. If prompted, add a short explanation, then click Report.

After you submit the report, CollectionStation sends it to our moderation team for review. You may not receive a direct reply about the outcome.

If you do not see Report

If Report is not available in the conversation menu, use the chat icon in the lower-right corner of CollectionStation. Include the collector's username, the date of the message, and any screenshots or copied text from the conversation.

Block the collector

If a collector is bothering you in messages, you can also block them. Blocking stops new messages and other direct interactions.

If someone is in immediate danger

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement right away. CollectionStation reporting is not an emergency response service.
