Albums

You can create albums on CollectionStation to organize a collection of photos and videos in your gallery. Albums live on your profile under Photos → Albums.

Uploaded photos and videos can be added to albums. Live streams cannot be added to an album.

Create a new album

To create an album:

  1. Sign in to CollectionStation.
  2. Go to your profile.
  3. Open Photos, then click Albums.
  4. Click Create Album.
  5. Enter an album title.
  6. Add photos or videos from your device, if you want to include media now.
  7. Choose the album privacy level.
  8. Click Create Album.

You can also create an album while uploading new photos or videos from your gallery upload flow.

Add photos or videos to an existing album

To add media to an album you already created:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Open Photos, then click Albums.
  3. Open the album you want to update.
  4. Click Add Photos or Add Videos.
  5. Choose the files to upload and finish the upload steps.

The new items are added to that album.

Edit an album title

To rename an album:

  1. Open the album from Photos → Albums.
  2. Click Edit next to the album title.
  3. Change the title, then click Save.

Album privacy

When you create an album, choose who can see it:

  • Public — visible to everyone, including visitors who are not signed in.
  • All Collector's — visible to any signed-in collector on CollectionStation.
  • My Connections — visible to collectors you are mutually connected with.
  • Only Me — visible only to you and site administrators.

Album privacy is set when the album is created. You can also adjust privacy for individual photos and videos when editing Photo details in your gallery.

Delete an album

You can delete albums you created. Deleting an album removes the album grouping. Photos and videos that were only in that album may also be removed depending on how they were uploaded.

To delete an album:

  1. Open Photos → Albums on your profile.
  2. Open the album you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete Album.
  4. Confirm that you want to delete the album.

Once deleted, an album cannot be restored.

View someone else's albums

You can open another collector's Photos → Albums tab to browse albums they share with you based on each album's privacy setting.
