DeConnect from a collector

DeConnect ends a mutual connection between you and another collector on CollectionStation. You are no longer connections, and connection-based follows between you are removed.

The collector is not notified when you DeConnect. If you do not want someone to see your profile, message you, or send you connection requests, see Block a collector instead.

DeConnect from a collector's profile

To DeConnect from someone on CollectionStation:

1. Sign in to CollectionStation.
2. Open the collector's profile. You can use Search in the site header or find them on your Connections hub.
3. Click Disconnect.

The change takes effect right away. You are removed from each other's connections lists.

DeConnect from your Connections hub

You can also DeConnect from your connections list:

1. Open your Connections hub.
2. Click the My Connections tab.
3. Find the collector.
4. Click Remove Connection on their card.

You can use the same Remove Connection action from Collectors cards when you are already connected.

After you DeConnect

When you DeConnect:

• You and the other collector are no longer connections.
• You may no longer see each other's connection-only posts, depending on privacy settings.
• Follows that were added automatically when you connected are removed. If either of you chose to Follow separately, that follow may stay until you unfollow from the collector's More menu (⋯).
• You can send a new connection request later if you want to connect again. See Adding connections.

If you cannot find the profile

If you cannot find a collector you want to DeConnect from:

• Open Connections → My Connections and use Remove Connection from the list.
• The account may be unavailable if it was deactivated or removed by site staff.
