Add items to your collection

My collection is your personal inventory on CollectionStation. Items are stored in collection folders and tagged as Have (you own it) or Want (on your wish list).

Before you add items

You need at least one collection folder. Create one from your collections dashboard.

Create a collection folder (website)

Open your account menu → Collections, or go to /users/{your-username}/collections.

Choose New collection (or go to /users/{your-username}/collections/new).

Enter a name, optional description, and privacy (public, private, or shared).

Save. You can nest folders under a parent collection if you use subfolders.

Add from a catalog item (website — recommended)

Open a collectible’s detail page from /collectibles.

Find the My Collection panel.

Toggle Have or Want.

Select the collection folder where the item should live.

If you don’t have a suitable folder yet, use the link to create a new collection from that panel.

Manage items in a folder (website)

Open a collection from /users/{your-username}/collections.

View your inventory — filter by Have or Want, update possession, or remove items.

Edit collection settings (name, privacy, cover image) from the collection’s Edit page.

Add on mobile (barcode scan)

Open the Collections tab.

Choose a collection, then Add item.

Scan a barcode or enter a UPC manually.

Confirm title, condition, notes, and Have or Want, then save.

Mobile add uses the same account and syncs with the website.

Privacy

Each collection folder can be public, private, or shared. Check privacy before posting sensitive inventory publicly.
